New Canadian Championship

Judge Al Bennett, Handled by Rebecca Robbins and
CAN CH UKC GRCH Joy-A-Len's Ebony 'N Gold
September 7th, 2002 - At an AKC show in Bay City, Michigan Emily earned Winners Bitch, Best of Winners and Best of Opposite. She earned a 3 point major toward her American Championship, which is also a major. To earn an American Championship, a dog must earn 15 points and two majors. A major is considered three or more points earned at one time. For Males, there must be at least five males entered to earn a "three point major". For Females, there must be at least seven females entered for a "three point major". It is a way to ensure that a dog has plenty of competition and truly deserves the title of "Champion".

September 15th, 2002 - Emily earns her second 3 point major! Emily won Winners Bitch and Best of Opposite at the St Clair Kennel Club show in Goodells, Michigan. Emily has her two majors for a total of 6 points. She needs 9 more points to finish her third Championship.

Congratulations Julie and Dave - your Emily is a beautiful girl!

September 14th, 2002 - Also at the St Clair Kennel Club show - UKC CH Joy-A-Len's Olivia earned her first AKC points at 9 months old by taking the 3-point major.
