Sunny

So at the end of the weekend...

Zoe earned her Grand Championship,

Echo and Cruiser each have their second wins (of 5) towards their Grands and each earned a spot on the TOP TEN List for 2005.

While Sunny shot to the top
of the Top Ten List.

By our calculations ~ Current UKC Rankings for 2005 ~ should be something like this...

Sunny is currently ranked #1 Bouvier in the UKC for 2005
Olivia is currently ranked #2
Bocephus and C'est La Vie are currently tied for #3
Cruiser, Echo and Zoe are tied at #5.

They are all great dogs... a UKC weekend leads to everyone doing a little winning!

The Joy-A-Len Bouvier Family attended the UKC K9 Fanicers Show on October 15 and 16th, 2005. There were 6 Champions competing toward wins for their Grand Champion Titles... Sunny, Cruiser, Echo, Sofie, C'est La and Riley. While Bocephus, a 6-month-old Puppy Male, also had a great weekend at his first show.

For Show 1 ~
Joy-A-Len's C'est La Vie won the Champions Class while Sunny took Reserve. Then C'est La earned Best of Breed and a 4th in Group.

C'est La is owned by Sandy Bernoit and was being shown by Juleanna Cain (Sandy's Granddaughter). They also did very well in Junior Showmanship over the weekend.

For Show 2 ~
Joy-A-Len's Sundara of Pender won the Champions Class while Echo took Reserve. Sunny went on to win Best of Breed and a 2nd in the Herding group.

This finished Sunny's Grand Championship!
Cdn CH, UGRCH Joy-A-Len's Sundara of Pender CGC

For Show 3 ~
Joy-A-Len's Undaunted Cruiser won the Champions Class while Sofie took Reserve. However, the Puppy Male, 6-month-old Joy-A-Len's Bocephus (owned by Yettive Hurley)... took Best of Breed over all the Champions and placed 4th in Group!
For Show 4 ~
It was finally Joy-A-Len's Majestic Echo's turn to win the Champions Class. However, Bo earned Best of Breed again... he is a georgous puppy.

"Bo" is a Goldie / Del Puppy.

So at the end of the weekend... Sunny earned his Grand Championship, Echo and Cruiser each have their first win (of 5) towards their Grands and even though Bo just started his show career, he only needs one more Win in order to finish his first Championship.

Rally Obedience News

Lee Ann has been working hard in the Obedience Ring!
She showed 5 Bouviers on August 20 & 21, 2005.
~Echo, Cruiser, Goldie, Pandora and Maggie~

ALL 5 QUALIFITED BOTH DAYS ~ IN OBEDIENCE !

The Young ~ Echo 19 months old, Cruiser 21 months old.
The Old ~ Pandora will be 10 years old in October 2005
The Stubborn ~ Have you met Goldie?
And the Magnificent ~ Maggie!

Rally Obedience is a great new event that the AKC started in January 2005.
It is considered the "Informal" Obedience.
The dog is judged on their performace with the handler but the dog does not need to be
a "little robot" or a "mind reader" to qualify or earn a perfect score.
A dog must earn at least 70 points to qualify. A perfect score is 100 points.

Everyone had nearly PERFECT scores!
