UKC CH Joy-A-Len's Image of Gold alias "Goldie" went over 2 specials to win the
Breed from the classes at the Holland Kennel Club Show in October 2001.
Goldie will be bred this Summer 2002.

Darla finished her 4th Championship Title on February 17th, 2002
at the Michigan Classic in Kalamazoo.

From Kalamazoo - March 23 & 24, 2002

UKC CH Joy-A-Len's Jade Gypsy alias Maggie
won the Champions Class and Best of Breed at all three show over the weekend.
She is well on her way to her UKC Grand Championship.

She was shown by owner Lee Ann Layman.  

 

Not all UKC shows have groups, instead they allow every dog that won a Best of Breed to compete for Best In Show, the judge then selects several dogs from which the Best in Show and Reserve Best in Show dogs are chosen. Saturday afternoon Maggie was one of seven dogs that made the final cut for their chance at Best in Show.

Earned 2 majors towards his American Championship
by taking Best of Winners on March 14th and Winners Male on March 17th at the Kentuckiana Cluster in Louisville, KY.

 

AM CH Joy-A-Len's Melody Of Briarlea alias "Fan" owned by Sunny DeYoung
Won Winners Bitch, beating 7 other females, on March 14th, 2002
and finished her American Championship by taking Best of Winner
at the Kentuckiana Cluster in Louisville, KY, on March 17th.
Fan is out of Willem and Darla.

earned 3 points towards her Canadian Championship.

Maggie earns her Canine Good Citizenship Title!!!

On Sunday, May 5th, 2002 UKC CH Joy-A-Len's Jade Gypsy passed her Canine Good Citizen test with flying colors to earned her CGC title.
 


   

A Winning Weekend at the UKC - K9 Fanciers of Michigan Show
in Bellevue, Michigan, May 18th & 19th 2002.
There were 4 Show in two days and everyone did well.

Maggie and Xena earned their Grand Championships,
while
Frankie earned her Championship.

On Sunday May 26th, 2002 Olivia won Best in Match at a fun match in Petrolia, Ontario.
She went for the experience and ended up winning the whole show.... !

At the UKC Premier in June 2002, the Top Ten Finals for 2001 were conducted. Of the 12 dogs listed above, 5 dogs came to compete for Top Bouvier. We are PROUD to announce that our "Xena" took Best of Breed.

CH Joy-A-Len's Ebony N' Gold won the Champions class on Saturday....

while Joy-A-Len's Indiana Jones took Best of Breed.
"Indy" is owned by Terry and Amy Woodruff of Marysville, MI.

 

On Sunday, UKC CH Joy-A-Len's Image of Gold won the Champions class,

while Can CH UKC GRCH Joy-A-Len's Just My Style took Best of Breed.

 

Obedience was on the agenda for "Nick" and "Pandora"
at the UKC June 2002 Premier.

Companion Dog (CD) is an Obedience title. To earn a CD, a dog must receive three qualifying scores. Exercises include heel on lead, stand for exam, heel off lead, sit stay, down stay and a recall over a jump. In UKC Obedience, a dog must earn at least 170 of the possible 200 points to qualify.

UKC CH Joy-A-Len's Utter Pandemonium Am CD CGC - "Pandora" earned two of her three qualifying scores this weekend. On Saturday, she had a very nice score of 192 out of 200. Pandora will also start working on her Canadian CD in July.

Lord - Brooklyn VD Lage Banken Am Can CD CGC who already has his American and Canadian CDs earned one qualifying score towards his UKC CD with a score of 194.

June 23rd, 2002.

Maggie and Willem both did well at this AKC show.
They each earned 1 point towards their American Championships.

Willem now has his 3 majors and 11 points towards his 4th championship by taking Best of Winners. He only needs to earn 4 more points to finish his American Championship.
Maggie earned her first AKC point by taking Winners Bitch.
