Carting Seminar at Echo Club

Cruiser and Goldie participated in a Carting Seminar held at Echo Club in Buchanan, Michigan.
The seminar was instructed by Lawren Coulam-Kinney, a Draft Dog judge.

 

Step 1: The Harness

Step 2: Something behind them.

Goldie and Crusier did not mind dragging a box.

 

Step 3: Walking between the shafts.

At this point Cruiser is not pulling the cart he is just learning
to walk with the cart behind him and the shafts beside him.


Having a second person to grab the cart if the dog gets scared is very important.

 

Step 4: Pulling the cart on their own.

It was a wonderful and informative class...
